b. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the short code. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
c. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at Jones Moving.
d. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
e. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive messages at a frequency that varies based on your requested services. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

Service Agreements & Quotes
All moving and storage services provided by Jones Moving & Storage are subject to a separate service agreement between Jones Moving & Storage and the customer. Quotes provided through our website, by phone, or by email are estimates based on the information provided at the time of inquiry. Final pricing is subject to confirmation upon assessment of the full scope of your move and is outlined in your service agreement.
Jones Moving & Storage reserves the right to adjust pricing in the event that the scope, volume, or complexity of a move differs materially from the information provided during the initial consultation. Any changes to the agreed scope of services will be communicated to the customer prior to commencement of the affected work.
Customer Responsibilities
To ensure the safe and efficient completion of your move or storage service, customers agree to the following responsibilities:
- Providing accurate and complete information about the scope, volume, and nature of your move at the time of booking
- Disclosing any specialty, high-value, fragile, or hazardous items that require special handling prior to the scheduled move date
- Ensuring that adequate access to your property is available on the scheduled move date, including parking, building access, and elevator reservations where applicable
- Securing or removing any items that are not intended to be moved prior to the arrival of our team
- Being present or having an authorized representative present at both the origin and destination addresses throughout the duration of your move
- Ensuring that all items to be moved are legally owned by you or that you have the legal authority to authorize their relocation
Jones Moving & Storage is not responsible for delays, additional costs, or damage resulting from a customer’s failure to fulfill these responsibilities.
Prohibited Items
Jones Moving & Storage will not transport certain items due to safety, legal, or logistical considerations. Prohibited items include but are not limited to:
- Hazardous materials, including flammable, explosive, toxic, or corrosive substances
- Firearms, ammunition, and weapons
- Illegal substances or contraband of any kind
- Perishable food items
- Live plants or animals
- Valuables such as cash, jewelry, financial documents, or irreplaceable personal items that customers are advised to transport personally
- Any item whose transport is prohibited by applicable law or regulation
Customers are responsible for ensuring that prohibited items are not included among their belongings at the time of their move. Jones Moving & Storage reserves the right to refuse to transport any item that falls within these categories.
Liability & Claims
Jones Moving & Storage takes every precaution to protect your belongings throughout the moving and storage process. In the event that damage or loss occurs, our liability is governed by the terms of your service agreement and applicable state and federal regulations.
Customers are encouraged to review their homeowner’s or renter’s insurance policy prior to their move to understand the coverage available for their belongings during a relocation. Jones Moving & Storage recommends that customers with high-value items consider additional valuation coverage options, which may be available through your service agreement.
Claims for damage or loss must be submitted in writing within the timeframe specified in your service agreement. Jones Moving & Storage will review all claims in good faith and respond in accordance with the terms of your agreement and applicable law.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Jones Moving & Storage understands that plans can change. Customers who need to cancel or reschedule a move should contact us as soon as possible to allow us to accommodate other customers and manage our scheduling effectively.
Cancellation and rescheduling policies, including any applicable fees or deposit conditions, are outlined in your individual service agreement. Jones Moving & Storage reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee for moves cancelled within a specified period prior to the scheduled move date, as detailed in your agreement.
Payment Terms
Payment terms for moving and storage services provided by Jones Moving & Storage are outlined in your individual service agreement. By engaging our services, you agree to pay all charges in accordance with the payment terms specified in your agreement. Jones Moving & Storage reserves the right to withhold delivery of your belongings until all outstanding balances have been settled in full.
Accepted payment methods are communicated at the time of booking. Customers are responsible for any applicable fees associated with their chosen payment method.
Intellectual Property
