Co-OwnerSteve has worked in moving since he was 16, starting in Birmingham, Michigan. Decades later he is still a hands-on owner who wants every job done right the first time.
Our Story
Jones Moving & Storage is a family-owned and operated moving company led by Steve and Candice Jones. Steve started working in the moving industry at 16 in Birmingham, Michigan, and knew right away it was more than a job. He spent the years that followed mastering every part of the business.
On one of their cross-country moves, Steve and Candice fell in love with Arizona. They made Phoenix home and grew Jones Moving & Storage to serve families and businesses across the Valley.
More than 35 years on, the company is still run by the family. Steve and Candice’s two sons now help run it day to day, with the same focus on hard work, honesty and careful service. As Steve puts it: “If you have to go to work every day, you should love what you do, and I do.”
We are BBB A+ accredited (since 2010), and you can look up our USDOT number, 1851763, on the FMCSA website (MC #670510). Usable items left behind after a move are donated to Saving Amy.

I will definitely recommend you.
Jones Moving & Storage is by far the best moving company I have had the pleasure to work with. I have had my share of working with movers over the years and they were excellent. The whole team of Travis, Alex, Billy, and Steve were hard working and efficient and did not mess around. I highly recommend them, and if the need arises or I know others that need a moving company, I will definitely recommend you. Thank you for the great job you did for us!!!

They were great to work with.
JMS Movers moved our storage unit contents from Phoenix to Indianapolis. They were great to work with and were very efficient and reasonable. I would definitely recommend them!

Fast and clean service!
Very helpful team. Travis even offered to move items that I had not considered moving in order to make unpacking easier. Fast and clean service!
