Home Movers in Phoenix: Planning for Heat, HOAs and the Seasons
In the Valley, a smooth home move depends on the weather, the community rules and the time of year as much as the size of the house.
Summer heat scheduling. Phoenix summers are hard on people and on belongings. Ask for the earliest start time that works for you, so most of the heavy carrying happens before the afternoon heat. Keep heat-sensitive items such as medications, electronics, candles, vinyl records, wine and important documents in your own air-conditioned car instead of the truck, and set the thermostat at the new home a day ahead so the crew walks into a cool house.
HOA, gated community and building rules. Many Valley neighborhoods are gated or run by an HOA, and many condo buildings set moving hours. Ask your HOA or building manager about truck parking, approved moving times and elevator reservations, and add our crew to the guard-gate list at both addresses. We build those details into your move plan.
Snowbird and seasonal moves. Winter visitors often arrive in the fall and head north in the spring. If you are setting up a seasonal home, moving into a casita, or closing a Valley house for the summer, we can move the furniture you need now and place the rest in storage until you return.
Active-adult and 55+ communities. The northwest Valley is home to large active-adult communities such as Sun City, Sun City West and Sun City Grand, close to our Surprise service area. Moves into these communities are often downsizing moves, so we help you decide what fits the new floor plan, place furniture where you want it, and donate what you leave behind.
